A mother, surfer, and active environmentalist, Jennifer brings her appreciation for the beauty of life directly to her work.

Upon graduating from Cosmetology School in 1992, she immediately began working to perfect her vision and skills. With the natural ability to bring inner beauty to the surface, Jennifer’s clientele and repertoire quickly grew. Following cosmetology school, she completed an intensive and highly specialized course in make-up artistry for film, theater, television and fashion. With a passion for creativity, she worked simultaneously in the Salon and as a Freelance Artist in major cities such as Toronto, New York, and Los Angeles.  Through the years, Jennifer has been fortunate enough to work alongside many well known and acclaimed filmmakers, photographers, actors, and fashion icons.

Jennifer has worked consistently in The Salon for over 30 years and loves this experience above all. “The connections I have with my clients and the ability to be creative on a daily basis are what has kept me in this industry for so long. Beauty is different for each individual and should be practical. I consider the individual’s features, lifestyle and needs when designing their hair cut and color. The result is easy to recreate because the structure is in the cut.”

Jennifer’s value for constant learning led her to complete multiple Degrees in Art, Business, and Science. She has completed advanced cutting, coloring, and creative courses with Vidal Sassoon Academy: “Vidal is most in line with my philosophy on hair.” She is always expanding her knowledge base, while keeping up with fashion forward trends in hair cutting and coloring.

For Jennifer, work is part of life’s pleasure, and the key to happiness and motivation comes simply from the inspiration found in all forms of art, nature, culture, and from getting to know many different people.
